‘BIG’ our Breathe Investment Grants are on the way.  We will soon be launching the next round of bidding for grants to support projects throughout 2018 across all the areas where we have homes. The Adactus Housing Group have been supporting community groups for the last 9 years with over £1m invested.  During 2017/17 we allocated £225,000 to support 147 projects. Adactus ‘BIG‘ have funded ‘You Can’, a Salford based youth club, with a £1,875 grant to support specialist workers in delivering sports, arts, crafts, games and outdoor pursuits for young people who have a disability or learning difficulties. The Manchester Malayalee Association has received BIG funding of £2000 from Adactus to fund dance and karate sessions for children aged between 5 to 16 throughout the Manchester area including Ardwick, Gorton, Longsight, Levenshulme, Rusholme, Moss Side wards.    The funding gives local youths the chance to exercise, socialise and have fun over the weekends. This is the quarterly review of anti-social behavior (ASB) activity reported to Adactus. The tenant scrutiny panel into ASB recommended the data are made available on our website. In the period October to December 2017, there were 366 individuals reported to us that were believed to be causing ASB or tenancy fraud (representing 306 cases it is common in cases of this type for there to be multiple alleged perpetrators).  The most common kinds of nuisance reported were: noise (23%), …
