We are very happy to report that the Adactus500 Scrutiny exercise on Universal Credit has been successfully completed. The scrutiny panel, made up of seven residents from across the Adactus Group, met over three meetings between April and July 2016 and produced a set of recommendations for our board members to consider. These recommendations, and the response to them from Adactus management, were presented to the performance, scrutiny and audit committee earlier this month. On Wednesday 14th September 2016, a new Adactus500 Scrutiny Panel met at our Head Office in Leigh to start their scrutiny of planned maintenance.  Nine tenants came from across the North West to meet together to share their views and agree the scope of the scrutiny exercise. Connect, the Adactus Housing Group contact centre, has been shortlisted for a Customer Contact Association (CCA) Excellence Award. The Leigh-based team competes in the category of ‘Most Effective Training Programme’ against six other businesses, including household names Sky, the DVLA and British Gas. Last year, Connect received the CCA’s Global Standard award as best small contact centre. A Coppull estate clean up organised by the Adactus Breathe team drew parents, kids and local councillors. The event, which took place at Chorley Community Housing’s Longfield Avenue estate, saw younger residents making hanging baskets helped by Breathe staff whilst the Adactus gardening team worked with tenants to clear their gardens and fill several skips with rubbish.
