Lune Valley Rural Housing Association has announced plans for a major upgrade of almost 60 of its properties in the next five years. The proposals, unveiled in the Association’s annual report, are in response to positive feedback from residents who have had work carried out in recent months. The social landlord, which owns 77 properties across Lancashire and North Yorkshire, provides properties for rent at below market levels and is managed by a committee of voluntary board members. On Wednesday, a new Adactus500 Scrutiny Panel met at our Head Office in Leigh to start their scrutiny of Value for Money in Lettings. Seven tenants came from across the North West to meet together to share their views and agree the scope of the scrutiny exercise.
