Work is continuing the Adactus500′s Scrutiny of DLO productivity (repairs). Following on from the Scrutiny Panel’s interim meeting, our Internal Affairs team has been busy gathering further evidence to present to the Scrutiny Panel at their next meeting in mid December. Chorley Community Housing has provided All Saints Primary School and Gillibrand Primary School with reflective slap wrap bands for their children to wear during the dark winter months. The bands are bright and reflective allowing other people to see the children in the dark increasing their safety when travelling to and from school. Have you ever wanted a self MOT? Yes… then here is your opportunity! Chorley Community Housing (CCH) are inviting their tenants to attend a completely FREE OF CHARGE health check at their local office: Ann James House, 32-34 St Thomas’s Road, Chorley. Dates for the health checks are: – Tuesday 2nd December – Monday 8th December appointments between 9:30am and 5pm. October has seen Freestyle Urban Soccer’s ‘One Community, One Goal’ programme reached the amazing milestone of engaging with 5000 young people since the project was launched in 2010. The project, which runs predominantly in the Chorley area, has received funding since its launch from Chorley Community Housing (CCH) and its Neighbourhood Fund.
