Have you ever wanted a self MOT? Yes… then here is your opportunity! Chorley Community Housing (CCH) are inviting their tenants to attend a completely FREE OF CHARGE health check at their local office: Ann James House, 32-34 St Thomas’s Road, Chorley. Dates for the health checks are: – Tuesday 2nd December – Monday 8th December appointments between 9:30am and 5pm. Each appointment will take around 10 minutes and will test blood pressure, heart rate, total cholesterol and diabetes.  The …

October has seen Freestyle Urban Soccer’s ‘One Community, One Goal’ programme reached the amazing milestone of engaging with 5000 young people since the project was launched in 2010. The project, which runs predominantly in the Chorley area, has received funding since its launch from Chorley Community Housing (CCH) and its Neighbourhood Fund. Residents from Hurst Green, Mawdesley have been successful in bidding for cash from the Chorley Community Housing (CCH) Neighbourhood Fund. The residents used the £570 cash to provide transport for the day and fund a canal cruise from Riley Green Marina, enjoying a two course meal on board. Samantha Hornsby, Neighbourhood Development Officer at CCH said, “This was a great project for us to support.  It’s nice to see the residents getting out and about, and having fun”. Hurst Green …
