Welcome to our latest report on photo activities! We now have more photo activities than ever, and an extra 29 members being promoted to premium membership meaning we now have 71 premium members! The boards of Adactus Housing Group, Adactus Housing Association, Beech Housing Association and Chorley Community Housing held their quarterly meeting on 28 November 2016.  The key issues discussed were as follows: New Chairs The first item on the agenda was to appoint chairs to serve for the next year.  Following the retirement of Paul Joyce who had provided nine years of excellent service on the board, Jane Clayton was appointed as the new Group Chair.  Richard O’Connell takes Jane’s previous post as Chair of …

The Oscars came to the North West, on 1 December at Leigh Sports Village.  The lavish ceremony was a celebration of local community projects featuring a film premiere and an awards ceremony. Every year, Adactus makes more than £200,000 available for its Breathe Investment Grants and invites local residents and resident groups to bid for up to £2,000 per project.  The money goes towards small scale community projects that make a real difference to neighbourhoods and help improve the quality of …
