Preparations are well underway for this year’s Chorley Moor Fun Day. The event, which is now in its fifth year, will take place at Buttermere Green, Chorley on Wednesday 19th August from 12pm to 4pm, and will offer a wide range of activities which are all completely FREE of charge. This annual event is a great way of bringing Chorley residents together for a day filled with fun! A class from Westgate Primary School has been successful in helping to name a flagship development of new homes in Morecambe.  The winning class received a £100 book voucher which will be used to provide stock for their new library. The name suggested by the school and chosen by the local council is Globe Drive, as it is adjacent to Morecambe FC’s Globe Stadium. Globe Drive will see 52 new houses, 8 bungalows and 30 apartments being built by January …

On Wednesday 15th July 2015, a new Adactus500 Scrutiny Panel met at our Head Office in Leigh to start their scrutiny of staff retention. Eight tenants came from across the North West to meet together to share their views and agree the scope of the scrutiny exercise.
