Adactus Housing Group is to build over 1,100 new homes across the North West of England. ¬†The total includes over 500 homes in Lancashire and over 500 in Greater Manchester and Cheshire. ¬†More than 100 homes are to be built in Sefton. The announcement comes following confirmation that Adactus has been awarded grant of ¬£22m from the Homes & Communities Agency‚Äôs Affordable Homes Programme for 2015-18. A time capsule has been buried in Leigh in Greater Manchester to mark the completion of a ¬£1.75m extension of the head office of Adactus Housing Group. Adactus Chief Executive Paul Lees buried the capsule containing tenant newsletters, board papers and a memory stick holding photographs of the organisation‚Äôs work watched by members of the Adactus senior management team. Lune Valley Rural Housing Association has announced plans for a major upgrade of almost 60 of its properties in the next five years. The proposals, unveiled in the Association‚Äôs annual report, are in response to positive feedback from residents who have had work carried out in recent months.
