North West based Adactus Housing Group has been short-listed for two of the UK Housing Awards 2016. The Group’s Tenancy Enforcement Service is now one of six left in the running for the ‘An outstanding approach to anti-social behaviour’ category, while the Development team is up for ‘Outstanding Development Programme of the Year”. We are urging the Government to clarify that the Local Housing Allowance (LHA) cap will apply only to general needs housing, protecting services, as well as the homes, of vulnerable people.  Critical services such as the ones described below, could be unsustainable if the LHA cap is applied. Adactus Housing are currently providing sheltered and extra care housing to people across the North West. A plaque has been unveiled on a bungalow to mark completion of the 500th new home to be built by the Adactus Housing Group in Chorley since 2007. Adactus Chief Executive Paul Lees unveiled the plaque on a bungalow in Thirlmere Road, Chorley on Tuesday 19th January 2016. On Wednesday 20th January 2016, a new Adactus500 Scrutiny Panel met at our Head Office in Leigh to start their scrutiny of fire safety.  Nine tenants came from across the North West to meet together to share their views and agree the scope of the scrutiny exercise.
