Last night, the very first Adactus500 scrutiny panel met at our Head Office in Leigh to start their scrutiny of tenant safety (fire and gas). The Adactus500 has been up and running for two years now and has been an extremely successful way of getting important feedback from our tenants. The Respect Standard is an Anti Social Behaviour (ASB) Charter for housing. It was introduced by the government in 2006. The Respect Standard played an important role in improving performance in both preventing and effectively tackling anti-social behaviour. Social landlords (e.g. Housing Associations or Councils) sign up to the standard voluntarily. We recently asked for the views of Adactus500 members on how often we should sent out rent statements. Each year, we send out four rent statements to our tenants. These are posted out by our staff, using 2nd class mail, once every three months (once per quarter) on a rolling programme. We are currently looking at Value for Money across our services. Work is continuing on reviewing our Resident Involvement Framework. We are committed to involving tenants every step of the way and so far, we have spoken to five Local Area Panels, seven Active Tenants, carried out a contact survey with 500 residents  and carried out a more detailed Adactus500 survey with 42 participants.
