On Friday 11th July local residents in Moss Side joined Adactus staff, Group Chief Executive, Paul Lees and Cllr Alistair Cox to help celebrate the association’s 50th year of providing affordable housing across the neighbourhoods of Manchester. Adactus Housing is supporting local voluntary group, The Teapot, in Neston.  This is the second year Adactus have supported The Teapot who work to provide friendship and company to older residents living in Neston. There is a drop in centre twice a week and then three day trips across the year. The aim is to increase interaction between older residents, reducing social isolation. 77 hard to heat properties in Abbey Hey have been transformed thanks to a £450,000 investment made by Adactus Housing Association.  Adactus Housing Association who own and manage 1800 properties in North and East Manchester has invested in the area, trying to help local residents reduce the energy costs over the next 5 years, by improving the insulation of their hard to heat properties.
