Clayton Brook Community Church has been successful in securing two lots of funding from Chorley Community Housing’s (CCH) Neighbourhood Fund. The Church was awarded a total of £640.  This allowed them to carry out a makeover of the Café Life area of the Church.  Painting was carried out and new lighting and crockery purchased.  The café is open to all residents in the local community.  Breakfast, light lunches, coffee and cake are served from 9am – 2pm each Monday. Adactus Housing Group are inviting bids for a share of £200,000 from their Neighbourhood Fund for 2015/16. The fund, which is now in its sixth year, is open to individuals, residents groups, community groups, charitable organisations and social enterprises working in and around areas where Adactus have homes. Projects seeking support from the fund should fall within one of Adactus’ neighbourhood priorities outlined below: – Healthy living – Environmental improvements – Young people and children – Older people – Sustainability …

CCH has secured an £87 million funding deal that will help us build more than 800 new homes over the next three years across the North West of England. These new homes will be developed in and around Chorley, Lancaster, Morecambe and Preston.  They will include a mixture of family homes and flats for rent as well as properties for sale through shared ownership. On Wednesday, the Adactus500 scrutiny panel on energy efficiency met in Leigh for a final time to finish their scrutiny exercise. The main purpose of the final meeting was to give scrutiny panel members the opportunity to look in detail at the final report produced by our internal affairs team, consider the recommendations, and add their own recommendations too. On the 26th March to celebrate the successful completion of 94 community projects across Manchester and Trafford, Adactus Housing Association held a celebration event at the Grange Community Centre in East Manchester. In 2014/15 Adactus Housing Association provided over £200,000 to community projects across the North West.
