We are very happy to report that the Adactus500 Scrutiny exercise on fire safety has been successfully completed. The Scrutiny Panel, made up of eight residents from across the Adactus Group, met over three meetings between January and April 2016 and produced a set of recommendations for our Board members to consider. These recommendations, and the response to them from Adactus management, were presented to the performance, scrutiny and audit committee earlier this month. We recently ran an Adactus500 consultation for members around some of the ways we communicate with tenants about various issues.  The survey presented respondents with three letters and one email that we regularly send out to tenants where relevant. Respondents were asked to comment on the content, tone, visual layout and formality of each and asked if they had any suggestions for improvements. A total of 50 respondents completed the survey. We recently ran an Adactus500 consultation for members around what they felt was important/a priority for improvement in their local neighbourhood.  The survey presented respondents with seven key priorities for improvement/investment and asked members to list them in order of priority.    Respondents were also asked to add comment on how safe / connected they felt in their area and make suggestions for improving the neighbourhoods in which they lived. On Wednesday 27th April 2016, a new Adactus500 Scrutiny Panel met at our Head Office in Leigh to start their scrutiny of universal credit.  Seven tenants came from across the North West to meet together to share their views and agree the scope of the scrutiny exercise. The Adactus500, the Group’s main way of involving tenants, has been crowned winners of the 2016 TPAS Northern Region “Excellence in Digital Involvement” award. Adactus staff and tenants attended the award ceremony at the Palace Hotel in Manchester on Friday 29th April along with hundreds of other staff and tenants from other shortlisted organisations.
