CCH open new offices
Chorley Community Housing (CCH) have moved from their former home on Gillibrand Street in Chorley to newly refurbished offices at Ann James House, 32 – 34 St Thomas’s Road.
The move will take place on Friday 23rd March with CCH opening for business as usual on Monday 26th March at the new address.
The opening of the new offices was marked by the unveiling of a plaque by Councillor Peter Goldsworthy, Leader of Chorley Council.
Ann James House has been named in honour of the founding chair of CCH who passed away in 2010. Amongst the guests at the official opening were Colin James, one of Ann’s sons, and her neighbour and friend Josie Snape, from Heapey.
CCH Director of Operations Richard Houghton said: “The offices, which many people will know as Kevills Solicitors, have been leased by CCH for ten years and have undergone a £200,000 refurbishment. All the facilities that were available for tenants at our old offices have been replicated here, including interview rooms and a tenant resource room.”
The new offices are open from 8.45am to 5.00pm, Monday to Friday. Tenants can continue to contact CCH on 01257 244800.
