New homes joy at Duxbury Manor

22 new homes built by the Adactus Housing Group have been let in Chorley.

The handover of Duxbury Manor, close to Frederick’s Ice Cream on the A6, took place in April with tenants moving straight in.

Alison Mitchell was amongst the first families to get a set of keys. Alison said: “I love it. It really is a dream home and my neighbours are very nice. I’ve had no problems since I move in and really do enjoy living here.”

The homes are subject to nomination rights from Chorley Borough Council, who worked in partnership with Adactus to develop the scheme.

Dean Wall, Tenant Services Manager with Adactus, said: “I’ve been to see these properties and they are absolutely superb. We have worked hard to ensure that the tenants moving into these properties were able to move in as soon as the keys were available.”
