Two star rating for Adactus Housing Group
The Adactus Housing Group has been awarded two-star status in the Best Companies accreditation 2012. We also made number 26 of The Sunday Times Top 100 ‘Best Not-For-Profit Organisations to Work For’ published on Sunday 26 Feb 2012. Our strengths are shown to include team unity and personal development.
The Best Companies Accreditation has been established to acknowledge corporate excellence in the workplace. The Accreditation is based on staff feedback and honours companies that use employee engagement as an integral part of their success and growth. Following a Michelin star-rating system, companies are then awarded one star for first class, two stars for outstanding and three stars for extraordinary performance. It is now widely recognised as the UK’s definitive survey of workplace satisfaction.
In 2008, Adactus was awarded a one star rating but this year went one better and became one of only 179 companies across the entire UK to receive the highly prestigious two star rating. The two stars rating reflects an outstanding workplace, workforce support and development.
Paul Lees, Group Chief Executive, who accepted the award from Jonathan Austin, founder and CEO of Best Companies, said: “It is exceptionally rewarding to be recognised as an outstanding organisation by Best Companies; the accreditation is a true reflection of how our employees feel. We value our staff greatly in our business and we understand how important their welfare is to our success. We are committed to providing an excellent and enjoyable working environment and the fact that we are now also recognised by The Sunday TimesTop 100 ‘Best Not-For-Profit Organisations to Work For’ in 2012, will help us maintain even more our great company spirit.”
Jonathan Austin, founder and CEO of Best Companies, commented:”This is the first year that we have published a combined list of the Best Places to Work in both the Public and Charity Sectors and I am personally very excited about not only this first year’s list but the foundation it creates for future lists for these vitally important sectors.  Organisations that secured their place on The Sunday Times Best Companies to Work For lists are among the very best employers in the country and I am very proud to recognise them for that achievement”
