As the world celebrated the start of this years World Cup 2014, Chorley based Freestyle Urban Soccer helped members of the local community at Buttermere Green get behind our England Team by kicking off their free of charge 2014 / 2015 Friday Night Street Soccer programme thanks to funding from Chorley Community Housing’s (CCH) community grant scheme, the Neighbourhood Fund. On Wednesday, the Adactus500 scrutiny panel on damp and condensation met in Leigh for a final time to finish their scrutiny exercise. Over the past year, three separate Scrutiny Panels have investigated and given their recommendations on three topics: Tenant Safety Planned Maintenance Anti Social Behaviour Over 60 recommendations have been agreed by Board which have led to improvements made to all aspects of the services in question.
