CCH Debt Advice service has helped win more than £5,000 in unclaimed benefits for a disabled tenant.  The 68 year old man from Coppull, who does not wish to be named, applied for Attendance Allowance more than eighteen months ago.  His application was refused and appealed, but the tenant lost the appeal because he failed to turn up as he is housebound. CCH’s Debt Advisor Christine Wigham took on the case and helped the tenant by obtaining an independent medical …

CCH has been declared the greenest business in Lancashire after winning the top prize in the Lancashire Green Awards at a glittering ceremony at Wrea Green, near Preston. Richard Houghton, Director of Operations, accepted the award on behalf of CCH.  He said:  “I’m delighted that CCH has won the Green Business of the Year award.  This recognises the hard work of staff in both CCH and our parent company the Adactus Housing Group in reinventing us as a green organisation.  …

Tenants looking to start their own businesses are being given a leg up by CCH. The Association has announced that it is offering start up grants of between £500 and £1,000 to help its tenants turn their business ideas into reality.
