Chorley Community Housing is warning children not to trick or trick if its elderly residents. The message comes in the run up to Halloween and Bonfire night. CCH has almost 1500 aged 65 or over in its properties, including 400 who are 80 and over. CCH are also giving away free stickers that can be displayed on the door or in the window telling people not to trick or treat. You pick these up from CCH office, Ann James House, …

Don’t forget to get ready for Halloween with Chorley Community Housing. CCH are holding a pumpkin carving competition on the 29th and 30th October 2012. The first event will take place on 29th October Longfield Hub, Coppull between 1pm till 3pm.  The second event will take place 3oth October 2012 at Liptrott Hub, Liptrott Rd, Chorley between 1pm till 3pm. A woman who falsely claimed to be living in a Chorley Community Housing (CCH) property in Eccleston has been forced to hand her keys back. The fraud was uncovered by Tia Mantack from CCH’s tenancy enforcement team.  It comes on the back of two similar cases in the Chorley area. Consultation with residents is set to begin on a major revamp of a Chorley housing estate. More than 50 homes in the Harestone Avenue area on the Chorley Moor estate are to receive a £400,000 facelift starting in the spring.
