Thanks to the Adactus Housing Association Neighbourhood Fund and the Princes’ Trust Adactus residents at Clement Court, a sheltered housing scheme in Openshaw have a garden that they can enjoy and look after. The residents were successful with their application to the Adactus Neighbourhood Fund in 2010 and secured £600 donation of soil and £1,200 of funding to purchase 4 raised planters to help keen gardeners at the scheme. Tenants of Adactus Housing Association living in Lancaster and Morecambe are being urged to join a new residents’ panel. The group – called LAMP – covers the north Lancashire area.
