Coverage on an ultimate thrills event organised by Adactus for residents in Miles Platting.Β 60 thrill seeking residents were taken to Camelot Theme Park by Adactus with the aim of promoting community spirit.Β The event came as a reward to residents that took part in local clear ups and litter picking events in the previous weeks.

More outdoor fun on the horizon. Story looking into the forthcoming activities that Adactus is planning to host for residents in Openshaw and Gorton.Β The activities will continue from the successful summer events organised by Adactus, which included kayaking and dinghy sailing at Debdale Park as well as street dancing workshops.

Hard at work.Local residents, church volunteers and staff from Chorley Community Housing tidied up overgrown areas in two Chorley Estates as part of “Hope 2008″. This national scheme aims to encourage churches to work together with locals to make a positive impact in their communities.

Klondyke Street Community Group wins recognition for its work. Further Coverage on the award received by The Klondyke Street Reps at this year’s Sefton Housing Market Renewal Community Champions Awards.Β The award for ‘Promoting Community Services’ was awarded for their work with BReathe+ to produce a Community Directory.
