Housing for older people
We manage both Cat 1 schemes (with alarm call only) and Cat 2 schemes (with scheme manager on site).
The Cat 1 schemes (with alarm call only) in the Chorley area are: Portsmouth Drive, Devonport Way and Rothwell Road, Anderton. The Cat 1 schemes in the Wigan/Leigh area are: Neild Gardens, Banks Court, Salters Court, Castle Rise, Owl Croft House and Francis Street.
The Cat 2 schemes (with scheme manager) in Chorley are: Arcon House, Charnock Richard, Heapey, The Fields, The Willows, Chuchill, Douglas, Eldon House, Heath Charnock, Hurst Green and The Heys. Cat 11 schemes in Wigan/Leigh area are: Pennington House, Clayton House, Ambergate, Ingleside, Windleshaw House and Wesley House.
These properties are for residents aged 60 or over, although consideration is also given to people with disabilities who are under pension age. Sheltered accommodation helps residents to maintain their independence by providing some additional support through the service of a scheme manager and/or alarm call.
