Pay your rent by text
CHORLEY TENANTS CAN USE MOBILES TO PAY RENT
Chorley Community Housing tenants can now use up to the minute technology to pay their rent – by texting. The latest addition to ways to pay rent has been announced by Chorley Community Housing to make it as easy as possible for its tenants to pay their rent.
All they have to do to use new method is to log on to a website www.allpayments.net/textpay/login.aspx to register. From then on they can use their mobile phone to text rent payments if they choose.
The pay by text follows on from the introduction of Allpay cards which can be used in a large number of shops and venues to pay rent.
Once the tenants have registered their text payments are made by the Allpay on line system.
CCH tenants can already pay their rent online at any time, by phone, at a wide range of outlets using an Allpay card, by direct debit or by more traditional methods such as cheque and postal payments.
"We have payment methods to suit everyone and texting is the newest in a line of ways using the latest technology. The big benefit of texting is that it can be done from anywhere," said Ceri Walker CCH Interim Regional Manager.
