We will publish here details of recent estate walkabouts we've carried out and the action we've taken to address the problems we've found, or that you have made us aware of.

Lindsay Greenhalgh conducted Heath Charnock & Anderton estate walkabouts on 22nd April 2010 and highlight the following issues:

Janet Hayes conducted a walkabout in the Euxton area on the 7th June 2010
Gardens and communal areas well maintained and free of litter.
One garden found overgrown and letter sent to occupier.
Janet Hayes conducted a walkabout on 8th June 2010 in the Devonport Way and Valley View areas and highlighted the following issues:
Majority of gardens well maintained. The communal areas were tidy and free of litter.
One garden in CCH ownership was found to be overgrown and a letter sent to occupier.
Janet Hayes conducted a walkabout on 10th June in the Wordsworth Terrace, Shakespeare Terrace area.
Nine gardens were found to be overgrown/untidy and letters have been sent to the occupiers.
Janet Hayes conducted a walkabout on the 11th June in the Northgate area.
One garden was found to be untidy and discussed with occupier.
Janet Hayes conducted a walkabout on the 14th June 2010 in the Brinscall area and hihgtlighted the following issues:
The new No Ball Games Sign had been taken off the post and ripped in two. This will be replaced.
Four gardens were identified as overgrown/untidy and letters sent to occupiers.
Walkways were clean and tidy.
Rachel Reynolds conducted walkabout on Lune Valley properties on Wednesday 3rd March 2010and highlight the following issues:
Helen Coulson conducted a walkabout in Litherland and Bootle on Friday 28th May and highlighted the following problems:

Allinsons Court - communal lightng faulty, Reported to maintenance team 01/06.
Fly tipping in communal areas, Reported to council to be cleared 07/06.
People using car park for Tesco. Looking into getting a sign for car park. TBC
Barnton Close - missing numbers on letter boxes Looking into getting these week commencing 01/06.
Main entrance faulty lock Reported to maintenance 09/06.
Ken Mews - no problems highlighted Reported to maintenance. 10/05.
Abbortsford Road - no problems highlighted.
Helen Coulson conducted a walkabout in Southport on 26th May and highlighted the following problems:

Samantha Hornsby conducted a walkabout in the Leigh Sheltered areas on the 5th May 2010
Gardens where well maintained and free of litter.

Issue at Quayside over communal cleaning - met with new cleaners on site at the start of June - to start cleaning on 14/06/10 on a trial period.

No problems highlighted
Helen Coulson conducted a walkabout in the Wigan area on the 18th June 2010 and highlighted the following problems:
Whelley properties - some individual gardens overgrown - letters to be sent to occupiers 21/06.
Ince properties - no problems highlighted
Hindley properties - no problems highlighted
