Void Management

Void management is the term used to describe how CCH deals with empty properties to ensure that rent loss is minimised and the most effective use made of the housing stock in order to meet housing need. The quick turnaround of empty properties should not be to the detriment of the quality of repairs. The policy follows the principles of the Audit Commission’s Key Lines of Enquiry in that there is a challenging re-let standard into which tenants have had an input.
