Successfully dealing with anti-social behaviour is a key part of developing sustainable communities. Chorley Community Housing will use all remedies at it’s disposal whether preventative, supportive or enforcement to try to ensure that all residents can live their lives in the peace and comfort to which they are entitled. However, we appreciate that we cannot successfully tackle anti-social behaviour in isolation. The success of our policy and procedures is based on good working relationships with residents, the Police and other agencies.

Chorley Community Housing is committed to providing a high quality service to its customers. This commitment includes managing domestic violence cases. We recognise that domestic violence is a complex and emotive matter and will treat it as a high priority in order to ensure that Chorley Community Housings residents and localities remain well managed.
We will ensure the aims and objectives of the policy are met through the effective implementation of procedure and established working relationships with tenants, residents, the Police and other agencies.
